Mrs. Lela Sandifer will celebrate her 98th birthday on March 31st from 2-4 p.m. All friends and relatives are invited to come share with her on this happy birthday at her home in the Pearl Community. Alesia Strickland, daughter of Ola Strickland and niece of Betty L. Strickland, both of Mount Olive, has completed of Army food service specialist the late Ratha Smith. Miss Crosby is a graduate of New Hebron High School and Hinds Jr. College where she majored in Veterinary Technology. Mr.

Smith is a graduate of Brookhaven High School and attended Mississippi State University. He is a dairy farmer in the Heucks Retreat Community in Lincoln County. Vows will be exchanged April 6 at 7:30 p.m. from Shivers Baptist Church with Rev. Phillip Douglas Talent Contest.
